Voicesontheriver.com celebrates the history and culture of the lower Connecticut River, the “Tidelands,” known as one of the “40 Last Great Places on Earth.” The editor, Erik Hesselberg, has been writing about the river for 20 years, first as an environmental reporter for the Middletown Press, and after as executive editor of Shore Line Newspapers in Guildford, where he oversaw 20 weekly newspapers from Old Lyme to Stratford, CT.
